Lead applicants must be researchers or academic professionals based at recognized African academic, research, or public health institutions. Early-career researchers are especially encouraged to apply, with priority given to female applicants.

You will need a research proposal template, budget breakdown sheet, curriculum vitae (CV) of principal investigator, support letter from host institution, and ethical clearance forms.

Grants range from $10,000 USD to $40,000 USD depending on the category and duration of the proposed study.

Yes, recognized academic bodies and registered collaborative research networks based in Africa are highly encouraged to apply.

All proposals are strictly peer-reviewed by our Pan-African Scientific Review Panel, utilizing blind evaluations based on feasibility, ethical alignment, and impact.

Final results and award letters will be dispatched in mid-August 2026. Official fellowship cohort projects begin in September 2026.
